We presented another concert in aid of charities this year which is; The Birmingham Air Raid Remembrance Association and
at Symphony Hall on Saturday 23rd April at 11:30am until 2:30pmThe tickets were £6 (includes Free Programme) and available from Symphony Hall on March 15th at the box office on 0121 780 3333. As part of the expansion of the Association we are planning other activities around the city on the day, including a Farmer's Market, Arts & Craft Stalls, Morris Dancing, Folk Singing, a Spitfire simulator and musical entertainment including competition winners the Woolley Pritchard Sovereign Brass, A competition to WIN A STAR PRIZE, in conjunction with Birmingham City Council you are asked to follow a trail round the city centre and meet some famous historical characters on the way!!! The City Museum & The Central Library will also have displays. And we haven't forgotten the children with face painting and other children's activities, come along and have a great family day out. We wish to express our thanks for the help and support of the Express & Star Newspaper One of our committee members, MARGARET JINKS has an art exhibition at Erdington Library to celebrate St. George's day. "THIS ENGLAND" THANK YOU’S To all performers who give their services free of charge together with their friends and families who support them in their activities.
